This is a CertainTeed Selecta T Back curb unit. This specific structure was installed in The City Of Mt. Pleasant. Please note the raised bar grating that prevents debris from blocking water flow.

Traditional Curb Casting
Notice all of the debris that can become lodged in the curb casting. All of these obstructions can cause the water channel to flood over into the road. This can be avoided by using a curb unit produced by CertainTeed.
